Revelation 17 warns that evil does not always appear weak or filthy. Sometimes it appears rich, adorned, influential, and untouchable. But heaven does not judge by glamour. Heaven judges by truth.
The alliance between the harlot and the beast does not last. Evil devours its own. Wicked coalitions may look strong for a season, but they carry the seeds of their own ruin.
The center of the chapter is not the beast, not the kings, and not the woman. The center is the Lamb. He overcomes because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.
Do not envy systems God has already marked for judgment. Do not be dazzled by corruption wearing royal robes. Stay with the Lamb.
